Facilitating a creative workshop as part of the Morges-East Schools’ Cultural Day, an event during which school classes from the city visit various museums and participate in a workshop. In collaboration with the City of Morges’ Office of Culture, Alexandre Borgeaud invites participants to create a collection of insect silhouettes inspired by the famous Rorschach test. This project playfully recreates a new series of small prints, drawing directly on the silhouettes of insects, which are always highly graphic thanks to their symmetry. Here, the therapeutic aspect lies in the act of creation itself — an almost meditative process that opens up an infinite range of forms. The “budding artists” leave with their own collection of insects, carefully pinned onto a SWAP board. A workshop at the intersection of art and biology.
