The first stop of the traveling exhibition “Out of Sight: Insects and the Deep Sea” is at the Pro Natura Center in Champ-Pittet, one of the organization’s three national flagship sites. Each year, the Center hosts three exhibitions by Swiss artists whose work is closely aligned with the values it upholds. This former mansion, surrounded by a 40-hectare nature reserve of reed beds, wet meadows, and alluvial forests, is the ideal setting to showcase and share the artist’s work with a curious, intergenerational audience concerned with environmental causes.

This is an opportunity to present the two worlds he has been exploring since 2020 — both fascinating and fragile: the world of insects and the world of the ocean floor. These are two often-overlooked realms that escape the general public’s attention due to their small size or remoteness.
